I grew up in Lagos, Nigeria, and the Seattle area has been home to my family for more than 20 years. I am a mom of 3 incredible humans with whom I love to spend meaningful moments, enjoying little everyday things and being fully present.

Before founding Genesis Home Staging in 2018, I was a licensed Real Estate Broker in Washington State. My experiences—teaching home-buying classes, touring homes with buyers, and preparing homes for sale—gave me a profound understanding of the art and psychology of real estate marketing. I've honed the skill of helping sellers view their homes as marketable products and using design to craft compelling stories that captivate the hearts of potential buyers.

 

My work ethic is rooted in my formative years in Lagos, Nigeria. Surrounded by inspiration, from role models, including my Hotel Chef mother and Chartered Accountant father. My diverse background in Business Management, Human Resources, Graphic/Web Design, and Real Estate combined, enabled me to establish a flourishing business. Genesis Home Staging LLC based in the Seattle area earned six-figure revenue in its first year, with a subsequent 100+% Year-over-year revenue growth.

 

As a visionary in process and system design, I've crafted a continually evolving proprietary system for initiating, operating, and expanding a thriving home staging business.

 

I have developed this formula, born from my failures and triumphs, into a curriculum now being used at an Interior Design School based in Nigeria. I am proud of the opportunity to pioneer home staging in Nigeria, guiding the next generation of designers in navigating this novel industry.

Having called both Lagos and the Seattle area home, I cherish the moments spent with my family—raising three wonderful children and reveling in the simplicity of daily life.

 

My journey through multiple business ventures, underscored by failures and triumphs, has shaped a replicable business blueprint. I'm committed to sharing this knowledge, ensuring others can establish their journey into entrepreneurship without starting from scratch.
